The cowboys w/ romo/philips are not capable of winning any game that has any importance at all, either to make the playoffs or a game in one. Dallas is just a horrible team and I love it

Saints lost to Carolina...Brees was 16 yards away from breaking Marinos season passing record. Got the ball with 1 second on the clock and threw...an incompletion. Poor Saints.

I knew counting on the jets was wishful thinking. Patriots made an impressive run with what they had left to work with. Hopefully next year will be much better as far as injuries.

I knew favre would screw it all up which he did do.

At least Dallas is knocked out now I just look forward to anyone beating the Giants

The fact the Patriots won 11 games this season w/ losing Brady and everyone else in key positions only shows how good that team held it together. There are other teams that had much more to work with and came away with much less.

I think it sucks that 8-8 teams will get in and the Pats stay home. I think you should at least have a winning record.

I amn very proud of the pats going 11-5 with brady out for the year and all the other injuries..


And to me this season is a success because we still finished ahead of the crappy ass jets after all the money they spent and brady going down...


The rat getting fired will make this a great year if it happens considering how bad it started..

I find it funny that the Jets throw Pennington to the curb to get Favre and he turns out to be a haz been at the end of the year and Pennington comes in and stomps their ass at home.

I think the Steelers got a better deal at #2 seed than the Titans at #1....all the better playoff teams (minus the Steelers and Titans) are seeded low (Colts and Ravens). The higher seeded ones (Mia and Den/SD) aren't as dangerous.

WOW... Brady way behind schedule with recovery

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's recovery from knee surgery is well behind schedule, and he could even miss the 2009 season if he elects to have a second surgery, NBCSports.com reports. Brady tore the ACL and MCL in his left knee on the first Sunday of the 2008 NFL season.

Another surgery would cause him to miss next season, since a second procedure would not be recommended so soon after the first, an NFL source told the Web site.
