Broncos dominated the Cowgirls the other night. Should be interesting to see how they do this year.

Ahhh, don't worry about it. The Browns were playing the team that beat the freegin' Patriots.

Hey, the Brown's 2nd-3rd stringers were better than the Giants 2nd-3rd stringers!

True, I at least expected a better show out of them though. It's like they weren't even trying. and to top it of, we play them again in week 6 this time it will be in Cleveland though

If pre season is a precursor of things to come then the Saints defense is picking up where they left off last season. Jason David is just useless. How the Colts ever kept him around is beyond me. He hasn't a clue.

preseason means nothing.. I can't even watch the games because the announcers trying to make what happens on the field out to be something when it's nothing makes me sick.. I honestly get angry and sick to my stomach when people who have played the game and know better lie on the air to pump up a meaningless game.... preseason is nothing but third stringers, guys that won't be in the nfl in 2 weeks and base defenses..

Actually, I could be mistaken but I think the "crap" cost Belichick $500,000 and the Pats had to give up their 1st round draft pick in 2008.

The power of media hype and the fear of looking weak to the misinformed general public can cause a scared commissioner to do strange things and go overboard.. You have to remember he has to protect the league in the eyes of the general public, even if he knows it was overblown hype he still has to protect the league first.. Personally I think he made the problem worse with his knee jerk reaction. Put it this way it was handled so poorly I am sure years down the road public relations people will use this as a example of how not to handle a situation like this.

WTF??? Eli is the antithesis of "gay". He has ice in his veins and comes up big in big games, especially the 4th quarter.

Read this little story about Eli:
Cold, Hard Football Facts.com

There are only 2 QB's in the NFL that Giant fans would swap Eli for. Hopefully in a few years, there won't be any. Not even the most optimistic Giant fan believed the kid would win a Superbowl in his 3rd full NFL season. How many Superbowls has your favorite QB won?

Therein lies the problem. Jason David is a high dollar free agent and is getting toasted in pre season.

No sorry I have to disagree.. that comment was more gay than all three mannings combined

Nice I like the coldhard link... thats a good site.

I don't think he will rise to the levels of the other manning or brady, but I could be wrong only time will tell.

BTW I would not put much of your hopes on that one drive. That was a once in a lifetime drive, the pats had him played perfect but did not hold onto the INT's he tossed up..

and the big play that setup the TD was a hail mary just toss it up while I am somehow still upright should have been a pick that got caught somehow by his own guy. You try that 1000 times.. 900 of them get picked and of the 100 that don't get picked 99 of those drop to the ground and holding is called and the 1 that gets caught gets called back on a hold.

As soon as I saw that BS powerball odds play I knew it was over. the 2007 patriots should be used as a coaches example for what happens to a team that takes it's opponent lightly and thinks they won the game before it was played. The giants should have never been in the position to win the game with a play like that.. the patriots were at least 20 points better of a team.

same can be said for the 2001 rams, they were a much better team than the 2001 pats but same thing happened to them.

Well anyways, 2007 is over and it was a great year for most of my favorite teams ( bruins are the only one not to contend for a title) now on to 2008

I disagree. The Giants would have beaten them again and again and again. They were not going to lose, period. How soon you forget about the week 17 game. Pats won, but by the skin of their teeth by 3 points! The Giants had their number.

400% more than Eli. There are far more than two QBs that are better than Eli in the league.

OK Chucky, there are no NFL QB's that have won 4 Superbowls except maybe if Montana did it.
Go back and read what I wrote. I didn't say there were only 2 better. Yes, quite a few have better stats. There are only 2 I'd swap him for though. I know what the kid can do.
