Before I saw that those shows were on on NFL Network, I thought about hooking the ipod up to my tv and watching a Pats game from last year.

Oh snap!!!

ESPN Page 2 - Easterbrook: Go baby bro

Well, ponder this: Eli Manning is now a better quarterback than Peyton Manning. At the current rate, his career achievements will at least match, and perhaps surpass, his big brother's

At his current rate, Tom Brady will never play again.

So far, Eli doesn't have nearly the stats his brother has. Big Ben's stats are better than Eli's.

I see every Giants game and I like what Eli brings to the table, namely wins. He's got guts and the game is never over while he is out there. Those sort of things do not show up as measurables.

People are getting ahead of themselves just to sell some rags.

He'll be fine. He'll be back with his old friend Osi Umenyiora in less than a year.

That was a wild game last night. Saints shot themselves in the foot again but you can't say it wasn't exciting.

I bet they go out and get a kicker soon. Probably the guy who has been with the G-men that will be released when "Party" Tynes is back. Sounds like a good idea, imo.

Giants are on MNF this week. They play the Browns in Cleveland. The Browns were one the the teams that the experts said would do very well before the season started. We shall see...

They're going to roll the Browns just like they've rolled everyone else.

As I said before the season, not sure if it was on here or not, but I thought the Giants would start out at least 6-0 because of their weaksauce schedule. However, in week 8 it really turns the heat up on them. Starting in week 8, they play the Steelers, Cows, Eagles, Baltimore, Arizona, 'Skins, Eagles, Cows, Carolina, and Vikings to end the season. That's going to be an incredibly tough schedule, imo. The Cardinals won't be too tough, along with the Vikings.. well, not as tough as the other teams on that slate of games.

Surprisingly enough, I can't wait for the game sunday against the Chargers!! I've got an unusual feeling of confidence about that one.. not sure why, but I just feel like they can keep it close.

Only problem is whoever O'Neal is supposed to be covering will probably be their leading reciever that game. That one really perplexes me and i'm sure the Chargers will exploit that early and often.

Eli could very well be a better QB than Peyton. He has a long way to go, but its possible. If the Colts dont win I root for the Giants because of Eli.

I was watching the NFL Network and they commented that the Giants have a very easy start to this season (which is obvious) but at some week X (I forget which) their schedule becomes the toughest in the league on paper.

However, each team the Giants have played, played them as if there was no tomorrow. Those teams were in dire need of a win, except the 1st game against the Skins.

That's a very unusual thing to say. Most fans of other teams hate Eli because of his refusal to committ his NFL career to a team that at the time was a horrible bumbling franchise.

If I was a fan of a team outside of the NFC East, I think I'd like Eli. He is a quiet young man, student of the game, hard worker and pretty giving off field. He's not a jackass or calls attention to himself at all unlike many big time NFL players. I really like the fact that when he's in there, the game is never really over. He gives his team a chance to make a comeback and he can make many different types of throws. Nothing seems to phase him as if he has ice in his veins.

Cutler seems like a very good young QB too. He's got less experience than Eli but is improving all the time.

Yeah I will watch but I expect them to have trouble scoring. If they win that will be cool another thing to point and laugh at the chargers about.
