how much would it suck if all this is true when you finally get to go see a patriots game and you wont even be able to see Brady :(

In all honesty, i'd sell my tickets and not mess with it. Yes, i'm a fan of the entire team but Brady is my favorite athlete in all of sports. Why spend my money to go this year and not see him when I could just sell the tickets and put the money back for next season, ya know.

If he is gone for the year is the season over? I say no just b/c everyone thought the same thing when Bledsoe went down and we were all like who the hell is this brady guy that was drafted as a 199th pick? I don't see him as taking over the team like Brady did though and making a Superbowl run but you never know. Best you can hope for is that they make the necessary adjustments to continue on. Guess we will find out the full status on everything tomorrow unless some confirmed 100% accurate info breaks tonight.

The guy on NBC's Football Night In America just reported the same info but says only that it was a team source, no name or position on the team. We'll find out either way soon enough.

I'll just keep my ears/eyes open until the team says something officially.

So I guess you believed the report that the Patriots taped the Rams practice because "a source close to the team" reported it and it was published/reported publicly?

Lots of things come from "team sources" and turn out to be assumptions that aren't true.

Honestly I didn't follow the too closely but IIRC it was a former team employee who felt he was treated unjustly by the Pats and wanted revenge, which is obviously much more different then a "current team source"

I guess we'll see what happens. Posters on a football forum I'm on are saying Jay Glazer is calling it "most likely a season ending injury" and I'll remind everyone that you don't need an MRI to diagnois an ACL injury.

I picked the colts to win and manning is on my fantasy so I hope they win.

They better pick it up in the second half, they look like shiot. They cant run the ball and cant stop the run on d.

Just a question are you having issues with your NFL.com fantasy league today? I am in a different league but I cant seem to get to it anymore and am wondering if somehow the leauge blew up or something. Not that it matters since my QB is brady, go figure you have Manning and I have Brady.

Bad news for Pats fans. Adam Schefter is now giving the same report, that means it's pretty much official.

Reports: Brady could be out for the year
Michael Silver of Yahoo Sports says Tom Brady will miss the end of the season with a major injury to his left knee suffered in today's 17-10 defeat of the Chiefs.

“It’s bad,” an unnamed team insider said to Silver. “We’re going to have to play without him.” (USA TODAY has not confirmed the report.)

Adding to the buzz, Peter King said on NBC that he's been told it's a "serious" injury that threatens the rest of Brady's season. Citing another unnamed source, NFLN's Adam Schefter said he was told Brady has an injured ACL and MCL.

The reports of Brady's ACL ailment are piling up, even though the team has made no statement. Ron Borges of WEEI-AM in Boston also says the QB has a torn ACL.

Free-agent QB Chris Simms is headed to New England for a meet-and-greet, according to Al Michaels on NBC's Sunday night game.

Jets quarterback Brett Favre said that Brady suffered an ACL injury to his left knee.

"Yeah, I just heard. That’s terrible. terrible. I guess it’s an ACL or something,” Favre said in his postgame comments. "They’ve always overcome injuries. But that’s pretty difficult, with Tom Brady."

Brady was hit by Bernard Pollard in the first quarter on Sunday, and he limped to the locker room afterward.

NBC reported earlier that Jets players were buzzing that the QB had an ACL injury, but the Patriots have not confirmed it.

Patriots receiver Randy Moss said he thought the hit was "dirty."

Now why would Randy Moss say the hit was dirty? Did he see the replay? Nobody dove at Brady's knee. Then again - it is Moss we're talking about :nonono:

Some people think the hit is dirty, some don't. I don't think it was dirty, but there's nothing I can do about it.

It's just like the hit the Titans layed on Merriman last year. Some people thought it was dirty, some didn't. It's a matter of opinion.
