My car has 2 plugs for what I presume is the non-premium stereo. I have a Ford cassette deck. The car had a aftermarket adapter harness and stereo in it when I bought it. Someone put Alpine speakers in the front. I put Pioneer speakers in the back.
There were no speakers or wiring in the doors. I just put speaker wiring in the door (yeah, that wasn't fun but I did it!).
I have an aftermarket HU that has 80 watts per channel x 4.
What do I need to do next to get sound going to all 6 speakers? Will series/parallel wiring the speakers work with just the HU?
If I need an amp, will a 4 channel amp work and just wire 2 speakers into the speaker-level imputs in the amp?
Do I need a crossover?
