The guy has no price yet right?
I am saying to complain about the color to get a lower price
Tell him you are looking at a blue or white one for instance
You are likely to piss him off anyway by lowballing him

heck, play hard ball, message him from a fake account and offer 1000 less than you wanna offer, then make your real offer from your real account.

Geeze just give the guy a fair offer without bitch'n about the condition, if you feel the price he is asking is fair pay up, drive off everybody's happy, I sell some stuff on the side and am sick of people complaining about the condition just to get the price down, make an offer, if it's fair I'll take it, too many times I've agreed to sell at a price and then never hear back, I've even taken the time to rip apart something to get at a part that is unavailable aftermarket or factory new and get told it's too much money or they never respond back. Now I got a pile of parts and wasted time.
Now if he is a flipper and the stuff is junk that's a different story.

OUCH! That sucks.
How do you think the 5 speed would be on long highway trips with 3.55 gears?
You wouldn't still have those wheels, would you?

I put 3.55s in my ‘86 to replace the stock 2.73s. It’s OK, but I’d like to try the 3.27s now.

Why do you say that? A little too high strung on the highway?

I used my ‘86 as a daily driver for 13 years and 96,000 miles with the 2.73 gears. It was a good cruiser, had enough power and got 25 mpg on the highway. I was satisfied, but always wanted to add a little more power. So aluminum heads, E303 cam, roller rockers, Edelbrock intake, bigger injectors, headers, bigger throttle body and MAF sensor were added. Runs good, but now it feels more like a drag car, always egging me to put my foot in it!

They all do, even the mostly stock ones like mine. The sound of that roller cam 302 in the upper rpm range is just too enticing for me when I drive it. I don't beat on it, but do I wind some gears out? Oh heck yeah!
