If you floated a valve the car would run bad, i floated a valve after missing a shift at track with stock motor running nos my window switch was not working right so i bypassed it. So when i missed that shift and the nos was not shutting down those poor skimpy stock rockers couldnt keep up, i bearly could limp car home. Another time when i was driving my car home from work this is with my new engine i started hearing a loud knocking, so i pulled over it felt like a pushrod hitting valvecover drivers side front. Then it stopped so i drove it home on 7 cylinders i figured it either broke a rocker or it backed off. After researching the forums i ordered a new set of ARP rocker studs before the valve cover was off and sure enough i broke a stud. Something people running AFR heads should think about upgrading to ARP rocker studs.
