Hello I have a 94 GT and the alternator is making a grinding noise replaced the alternator still making a grinding noise at idle any help would be appreciated

Pull the belt off and spin each pulley, you'll likely find that it's the one on the tensioner, if the new alternator is grinding take it back.

Thanks man,now can I just do the pully are you think I should just do the whole tensioner

If just the pulley is available it's less money.

True, but if the pulley's bearings have worn out, the tensioner spring might be ready to let loose too. I'd change the whole thing.

Mine has 150k on it, both pulley and tensioner still going strong! Go figuare.
it will likely fall off tomorrow.
