I just recently bought a 1996 cobra hardtop. When I bought it, it already had an american thunder catback, a march ram air kit and pulleys, and a K&N filter. I currently have a small budget, but what would should be my first 5 mods for this car. -thanx
(ALso any approximate quartemile times with what i have so far?)

Either an x-pipe or 4.10 gears, I'd probably go with the gears which is definately the most bang for the buck, If you can't afford those at the moment then I'd probably get an x-pipe which is alot less expensive.

Gears are alot cheaper than an x-pipe?? Isn't a 4:10 like 190 and a x-pipe o/r aluminized like 150??

you can get 4.10 for $130 here www.gefracing.com but yes an x-pipe would be cheaper because you have to pay someone to install your gears and depending on who does it that can be expensive

Depends on the place....I'd say around $300 to install

I think a 96 cobra with 4:10's headers, midpipe, catback, and bigger MAF and TB with a set of LCM's should run low 13's to 13 flat.

I paid a little less than 300 for my Bassani o/r x-pipe, and yes it can cheaper to buy gears than an x-pipe but as my good buddy "96 & 01Stang" said, it can turn out to be expensive. Expect to spend a little less than $500 for a gear install. Installing an x-pipe is easy = do it yourself installation = less money than gear install..

Make sense??

exactly.....you always have to factor in install cost on something you cannot do yourself
