I have recently put a new BBK throttle body on my Cobra and I'm having this hissing problem. It seems to be running fine, but when I first push the gas I'm getting this hissing noise from 2k rpm to 4k rpm then it stops.
Throttle bodies on the '96-'98's are about the most worthless mod you can do to the car. Sell it, put the stocker back on, and put money towards a better bang-for-your-buck mod, like a quality CAI.
