Hey guys, I have the opportunity to get a used Vortech S-Trim Kit. Everything is there that is needed for the install. Car had 13K on it when he took it off. I don't know how many miles are on the blower though.
Is it worth $2,000? It's not intercooled and I could only run it on 8#. I had my mind set on a 9# KB 1.7 i/c. I shouldn't make such a rash decision. I'll decline the offer.
Well you already passed but yes it was worth it. If everything was there. Worse case you send blower back for rebuild usually 300 bucks, then you so install and get it dyno tuned, (which odds are you'd do anyway). Now if you did everything yourself but the tune. what 3k in it.
