2.3 to 5.0 swap, i got a question

Im considering in doing this project i have a 89 2.3 and i hate the engine but love the car..and theres a 79 5.0 in my backyard that runs but needs some serious body work.. so my question is if i have a complete donor car, should i have to purchase anything else for the swap?? please help.. thanks

also if i get a 4bbl carb will it work with any square bore intake manifold.. or do i need a 4bbl intake manifold

Gonna be a big job to swap from and injected car to a carb. I did it, and it was a big job, except I stayed injected. Same year to same year, and it's something I'm not too sure I'll do anytime again soon. And honestly, the 79 5.0 is all but the same undercarriagewise as you 89. The hardest part is gonna be getting all the wiring and fuel stuff squared away. I say go injected, but that's just me.
