What should good compression be for an 85 SVO mustang be. Did a compression check and got 148, 150,149, 151.

well, one rule of thumb is that all the #'s be within 10% of each other which those definitely are.

why'd you do a compression check?? having problems still??

I'm pretty sure I'm way off but I think I remember the #'s as supposed to be either in the 180's or right at 200 or so.

but like I said, if you're not having problems and it's running 10% on all cylinders, you should be good.

140's-150's look good, and like Stackz said the consistency is really what matters.

Mine always read around 155 or so...gauges vary though. Your #'s look great.

Good, I'll keep the boost under 20 to avoid the joy of a headgasket replacement. Glad to hear compression is within specs. The car is running great, I just did a compression check to see where I was at. I beat a modified 2002 WRX!!! By the way my license plate on my 92 LX vert with the 2.3 turbo is: LIL4CYL
