2 Questions?

My mods are as follows.
Cobra Intake
Edelbrock Performer Heads 1.94 & 1.60 Valves
E-Cam
Mac 1 3/4 Longtube Headers
Mac 3inch Pro Chamber H-Pipe
Flowmaster 3inch One Chamber Flows Dumped
Tremmec 3550 Transmission
24lb Injectors
Pro M 75 Mass Air

Just upgraded from 3.27s to 4.30s & got a 1inch Spacer & March Ram Air Kit & deleted the AC with the Ford Motorsport Kit that move the Power Steering pump up

What kind of times do you think I will get now?

My previous best was 8.2 @82mph with a 1.865 60ft on 315/35/17 BFG DRAG RADIALS


My Second Question is------

Do you think the 3.27s are the reason why I MPH so low in the 1/8?

I am hoping that with the 4.30s the car will get in it's powerband faster & MPH better at the end of the 1/8th,

I just feel like 82mph in a Heads Cam Coupe IN THE 1/8 MILE IS WEAK.
 
I am not sure what a correct MPH for you car should be but I don't see the gears having any affect on your MPH. There is a possablity that they will help your ET but I sure wouldn't expect it to be the cure all. One thing that might be hurting you is the big exhause. That is a pretty mild combo to have the 1 3/4 long tubes and 3" exhaust on. Good luck :nice:
 
I run a 79 mercury zephyr, 302, c4 with 2400 stall, 1 5/8 long tubes, 2 1/2 inch flowmasters dumped, 3.73s Auburn 31 spline. Edelbrock RPM intake, speed demon carb. a 494 lift cam and some suspension. Thats pretty much it.

I have Alum Heads & you way out MPH me in the 1/8th, Now I was running 3.27s with those trap speeds & the reason why I upgraded to 4.30s was to get me in my power band faster which in turn would hopefully give me a high mph trap!

Do you think my MPH will be higher with the 4.30s?
