GT brakes off

Broke my abs sensor, as you can see by the cut wire. Just fell apart when trying to take it out of the bracket. Another on order

New axle bearings, seals, quad shocks and cobra brakes

Did discover my LSD is toast. Open differential essential. Clutch material was all in the diff fluid. Not gonna rebuild right now. Will get the parts and prob address that in the spring. Right now I want to park this car and work on the fox a bit.

Well that sucked on the ABS sensor. I have a drawer full of them from a couple of cars in the salvage yard for my Coupe for that reason. Brakes are going to look much better behind those wheels!

Other side broke too. Just really stuck in the brackets. Ordered up some new ones. Guess that will be the last thing I do before I park the car

But now it looks proportional with the 11.65” brakes out back. Will have to wait til spring to bed then in unless we get another warm day here in MA.

Getting the itch to sell it for an Azure Blue 03/04 Mach 1.....

Definitely looks right with the larger rear brakes! Hope you get another nice day but if not something to look forward to in the spring.

Buddy has an ‘03 Mach with a Vortec. Stupid fun in that car.

Parking the car for the season. Brake pad bedding in will wait for the spring.

Altearher gathering some parts for spring. Mainly a set of UCAs and axle bushings. Haven’t decided if I wanted to spend $180 for stock style LCAs with rubber bushings, or get the MM sport arms with poly for $250. My concern is NVH but I’ll likely go MM.

Also need to grab a rear diff clutch pack rebuild kit.

Asleep for the season

I did manage to finally pick up the correct (and preferred) 94-00 convertible top parade boot for under $300. The 01-04 version sucks, although it does store better in the trunk.

This one looks like it’s been stored for years. It’s dated 1995. As you can see, I’ll need to get it to relax a bit to flatten out. But the downside to this boot is it doesn’t fold up very tightly, so it pretty much will take up all the trunk space when not in use.

Prob make a comparison video for my YouTube channel before I sell the 01-04 boot.

The vert parade cover usually includes a cover which should allow it to lay somewhat flat in the trunk. But i will admit I keep mine stored open in the house. I really like what you have done with this car.

Yeah, I’ve been trying to find one but have yet to see one sold separately. I’ve seen them sold with the cover for crazy prices. I’ll prob try and find a generic bag that it will fit into.

Ill prob sell the 01-04 parade cover in the spring when its the start of convertible season.

First time out of the garage for 2025. Took it for a drive to get everything warmed up. Felt good to be back in this with the top down.

Initial impression after not driving it so long was how well it rides. Eibach pro-kit and bilstiens is a damn good combo

How are the front seats in that? In my 98 Cobra they are supple leather but marshmallow soft...
