I would like to upgrade my rear sway bar to the blue Steeda Tubular piece but I am wondering if that is something that I can do in the driveway with a jack and jackstands or will I need a hoist? Also, can I do it with the rest of the suspension in tact (ie. leaving the rear LCA and springs in the car) or do I need to drop the rear suspension?

I know it is a small upgrade therefore I do not want to get into a big job. If it is a simple 2 bolt R&R, that is what I am after. After looking at it, it appears that I should just have to support the rear end with a jack to take pressure off the sway bar, and remove the bolts, but I wanted to double check with guys who would know for sure.

Thanks in advance for any help that can be offered.

its a fairly simple job. there is no weight on the swaybar, you can just unbolt it and bolt in the new one. however, you might wanna look at the adjustable swaybar from steeda instead of the regular non adjustable one. i had the adjustable swaybar on mine and it was great. you can adjust for understeer/oversteer. only thing is you have to drill into the car for install. not a big deal, i installed mine in about 2 hours taking my time. i actually have mine for sale since it wont fir around my TA differential cover. PM me for details.
