Changing ball joints on a 2001 V6. Passenger side has a newer control arm than drivers side. Ball joints pressed out clean, but the passenger side fit does not require the press to install the ball joint. The hole is not distorted.
I did not mic the sizes of the old BJ's but it is obvious that the passenger side is a fraction larger.
First option I see is to replace the contol arm on that side. Your suggestions are most welcome.
