DUAL EXHAUST... definitely.. you get a better sound, a little bit of extra power, and much better looks. But, I forgot that with the 99-04 cars you have to get the GT rear bumper, don't you? To fit the duals back there. To get the bumper painted and installed, plus the exhaust system, might push you over $1000. Depends on where you go, I guess..

Not really much more power.. it's more for looks, I think. The fuel economy gets a little better, like maybe 1 mpg. Plus when you install it there is a whooshing sound when you give it gas, like wind in a metal tube, cause that's exactly what it is! The harder you gas it, the louder it is, because the more air goes through. I got mine at the same time I got my dual exhaust, so I never had the intake by itself. The sound from the cold air intake may be good or bad, depending on what you like, but it is always there whenever you drive it, unless you have your stereo cranked. Just thought you should be aware of that. But if you ever pop your hood at a car show, the intake looks awesome.

Consider a GT takeoff catback, around $100 or less. Installation with a true dual fabricated midpipe another hundred. That would leave some for a GT takeoff rear bumper painted to match. Down the road consider rear gears and a T-Lok for about $500 installed, and a flash tuner for $250 and up. All of these things with a CAI included would run about $1,500 but it's worth it in my opinion.
