Hey everyone, got a 03 gt with oil around some bolt near the housing. I was wondering if this could just be the filter gasket or the housing gasket? Let me know what you guys think thanks.
Best to clean the area so that it's easier to see where the oil is coming from. But if asking for an educated guess you have a failed oil filter adapter gasket.
It will be necessary to drain the cooling system before hand. Will also need to change the oil afterwards. Remove the oil filter for better access. It's not a hard repair.
