What do you run stock in the 1/4? The 2004 Automatics have 3.55s, wheras the older ones had 3.27s. Does this make any difference guys? Not asking for 03, 02, 01, etc. times. Just automatic 04s

Hey Mr. 19 Posts... He was just asking a question, back off. You should watch how you go dissing on newbs when you have a massive amount of posts as well...

The 3.55's will make a difference, though it would probably not be huge, but you would definitly feel it!

Stop hijacking my thread douche smuggler!

Anyway, yea, I'm not a newbie. I most likely know more about cars then you, but I'm not gonna sit here and play a pissing game.

To those of you who responded to the question, thanks. I know the 3.55s pull better then the 3.27s (My 03 had the 3.27s) but I'm trying to see if that small of a change in gearing can affect 1/4 mile time at all.

i dont' think you'll notice a feelable difference with 3:55's. my friend has 3:73's in his automatic and it feels exactly stock except it scratches every time in second gear. he can't even pull on me with stock 3:27's and i'm also automatic and he is to.

are you sure auto GTs have 3.55 gears? I am thinking that only the mach 1 has 3.55s (and probably the cobra). I think GTs and v6's still have 3.27s.
