I was looking for a good all around tire for my stock 04 Mach 1 although I'm not too concerned with a good snow tire as I won't be driving this car in the winter. Treadwear and hookup are my main concerns when purchasing new tires. A buddy of mine has the Yokohama Avid H4S 255/40/17. The treadpattern looks great and they seem to be holding up well and giving him some good traction. What do you guys think I should go with? I don't think I want to go any bigger than 255's as I heard running 275's might cause some problems on stock rims (correct me if I'm wrong). The Yokohama's have a 500 AA A rating which I think is pretty good. I don't want to break the bank with this purchase but just get the best bang for the buck if you will. What do you guys think?
