I put a set of 2009 bullit wheels on my 2004 GT. I would like to know what size spacer would be enough to stop wheels from rubbing during a sharp turn. Would 1 inch be enough?

I just went old school and visited tractor supply. A pound of half inch washers took the guess work out of it. 1/2 inch adapter spacers will be adequate to give clearance from rubbing. But going to use 1 inch to fill that recessed look.

LOL, have to laugh! I only used the washers as a gauge to get the right thickness that I needed to move the wheel out from rubbing. I took the washers off and measured the thickness. Viola! needed at least 1/2 inch of space. Decide to go with 1" adapters and push the wheels out. But I sure appreciate the concern. Never know when someone might do something foolish!
