first time posting:

my cluster panel has been messed up for about a year, meaning speedometer, rpm, and gas gauge works intermittently, if at all.
was told to check the fuses inside the car, and under the hood to make sure none were bad. this was done, then the car would do nothing...no lights, no power, no action. battery cables were disconnected and then reconnected and now the alarm and the dome lights come on. if you turn the key on to first position and let it set for about 5 minutes, the headlights and taillights will come on and stay on for about 10 minutes and then it turns off by itself. this is all that the car will do. the key when turned to the first position doesn't even turn the radio or dash lights on. absolutely nothing is working.
called locksmith thinking the key needed to be reprogrammed to the car's computer system and he says it is not a key issue.
what can I do now?
any help would be greatly appreciated,
Tina

P.S. fuses are all in the correct spot and battery is fully charged
