Hi Folks

I have a very simple question. Can anyone tell me what the differences are (if any) between the 2006 and 2007 model Mustang GT's. I know that there are different colours and options (GT Pack, Comfort Pack) etc.

However, I am more interested in knowing whether the BODYWORK has changed at all. I can't seem to find a definate answer anywhere.

Any other differences I should know about so I don't go :jaw: when I get it :D

I'm importing one to Switzerland and I need to know whether I should get a 2006 model or wait a bit longer till the 2007's become more widely available.

Thanks in advance :hail2:
and Cheers  from Switzerland,

Paul, a soon to be Mustang Owner.:D

PS, yeah I posted this in the GT500 forum as well. Sorry bout that :D

the 07s have more welds on the unibody, making them stiffer and about 40 lbs heavier. the bodywork did not change, unless you get one of the appearance packages, GT/CS, GT500, etc.

Do we get a 5 year/60 month warranty? Also you can get sirius radio, and you have to pay for 3.55 gears in the manual. Is the TPMS new for 07? Other than that, nothing else I can think of.

check with the dealer. i have seen advertisements for the 2007s that did and did not have the longer warranty. some commercials have said ONLY the remaining 06s.

the be 100% sure, have the dealer look it up for you.

This is on Ford's webpage underneath the mustang, I would say if they don't have it then it's kind of shady advertisement. I mean it does say "all new Ford vehicles" I will check with a dealer tomorrow if I remember.

I got the 5 year/60,000 mile power train warranty on my 2007 GT.

The dealer provides you with a supplemental warranty form that contains the warranty information, and a signature block to verify you have received the info. Both the buyer and the dealer get a copy of the signed form.

Well my dealer sucked when it came to knowing what the hell was going on, I guess I need to go back. Do you think another dealer that is closer could do this, or does it have to be the one that I went through to purchase the vehicle.
