Drove one yesterday

Stick Trans with 355's

Nice for a daily driver
but
It was NO power house

I'd certainly not give up my current 95 for one

I've been considering financing an 07 GT coupe as my daily driver but I'm just a little hesitant because of how bad Mustangs are in the snow. I heard they're an incredibly smooth ride. That'd be a real change from my 95.

It was very smooth

I was more impressed with the smoothness of the motor than the rest of
the car. Of course, that is a benefit of the mod motor.

My 95 is low mileage and very tight so I have no complaints with its
smoothness

As for the 07, I drove an 05 right when they first came out
My impression of the 05 was I liked EVERYTHING about the car
but the lack of low end torque. It needed more power in general.

That same first impression still holds ... two years later IMHO

This 07 had 355's for a gear ratio that helped somewhat
but still ...
There is a difference in 300 to the crank and 300 to the wheels

I think a set of 410's are needed in that 07 myself
At 65mph it was only showing 1900 on the tach

I drove a friends 99 Cobra many times and this little 07 3 valve
had a good bit more low end torque than the 4 cammer :Word:

I liked the 07 a lot ... but ... Like Tim Allen said

"This thing just needs more power ... thats all"
