Calling all Saleen owners! ....classes for Mustangs also....
The S351 cars are the featured series at this years event.
The FOX SALEEN owners are trying to out number the 1994-1998 and the 1999-2004 cars at this years event. Many 1-of-1 Saleen models will be present. In past years we have seen 2-of-3 1984 Saleens including the very FIRST, both the 1985 Saleen Escort Series race cars, the very first 1985 Saleen IMSA Firehawk Series race car, Budget rent-a-car Speedsters, the first 2005 BASF rainbow Saleen...and many more rare-rare-rare Saleens.
Imagine 100+ Saleen Mustangs in one location...oh yeah, the Saleen Explorers, Ranger Sport Trucks, Focus', Parnelli Jones BOSS302,s the exotic S7 and the new S331 F150 are all WELCOME and encouraged to attend........lets make this a SALEEN REUNION!!!!!
There are several events going on during the weekend around the Saturday show....like the Friday Dyno runs! Good posibility that the Saleen Semi display will be there on Saturday after a week at Mustang Week in Savannah...Steve Saleen is scheduled to be in Atlanta over the weekend because of the race at Road Atlanta, so he could show up. You can expect the parking lot gang will be hanging out till late in the evenings.
This event is being held on the grounds of TEAM FORD in Marietts Georgia, they are a sponsoring dealer of the SCOA. Wingate Inn is the host hotel and has special rates by mentioning the Saleen show, but you must reserve early. PREREGISTRATION is GREATLY encouraged because classes and number of trophys are dertimined by the preregistration entrys.
