2008 Gt Engine Wine

Hey guys not sure if I’m posing to the right spot new to the whole forums thing but thought I’d give it a try I got a 2008 GT with about 120,000k on it and runs like new but the engine has a super loud Winning noise especially during acceleration but is always there it’s not supercharged or anything I tested the alternator and it’s not overcharging I seen online it can be a idler pulley or a timing chain or the steel tensioners for them anyway it’s really annoying and just wanted to see if anyone knew the fix

The whine's probably coming from one of the belt-driven pulleys. Remove the drivebelt, spin each individual pulley by hand, and see which one makes a noise. It's most likely to be one of the smaller pulleys (idler, tensioner, or alternator).
