2010 GT alloys onto 2007 will they fit?

Ive just purchased a set of anthracite/polished 19" OEM rims and tires taken off a 2010 GT and own an 07 GT and now have reservations if they will fit (I collect them next week)
I know the bolt pattern is the same but I've been told the offset is different as a buddy of mine tried to bolt a set of 20"x 8.5" bullets off his 08 GT onto his new 2010 GT and says they stick out too far. If so it seems that I may need to space then new wheels out to fill the arches?

I've seen guys on the forums do this and they fit fine. 05+ stangs are all the same bolt pattern and offset.

Your buddy's 20's may have been the wrong offset, the factory offset for 05+ is 45mm. You can vary the offset a little but when you start to run wider wheels you have less room to play with and the offset becomes very important.

you should be able to calculate it yourself.

the factory 19 x 18.5 wheels have a +50 mm offset which I believe translates to a 6.72" backspacing.

you can either pop-off one of your wheels to measure the backspacing or go to a site that sells OEM wheels and lookup your wheels to get the offset and backspace info.

The wheel size and offset is stamped on the inside of your wheel if you take it off like Bones302 suggested. Double check what you're running and test fit the new wheel or you can try a wheel calculator to compare the differences. This one is pretty good...
