Anyone going to take their car to the track this Spring? May 13th is our first day so I'm sort of getting ready. I'll be going to a track south of here instead of Bandimere 100 miles to the north. We'll see how it goes.

Post up on Spring time track time...

(I'll be back with my stuff if you foo-s don't post...)

My first trip this year will be Friday, April 15th. Finally stepping up from drag radials to slicks. Hoping everything goes alright since I still have the stock rear with 78,000 miles on it.

I plan on spending quite a bit of time at the track this year. Not with my 4.6 though, but in my 68.

Yup, I'm going this Friday night the 15th. Looking forward to it.

I'll probably be going a lot this summer. I normally go home for the summer and work on the farm there, which usually involves 60+ hrs/week and little time to go to the track. However, this summer I'll be working a 8-5, Monday-Friday job in Raleigh. So I suspect I'll be at the track a lot.

I almost always get to the track sometime during the spring. Normally, I've already gone by this time of year, but life keeps getting more busy...

I want to run the 97 GT sometime because it now has a PI intake and cams, along with a nice tune. It certainly has a lot more seat of the pants fun.

And the 2.3 is always fun too. Smoke a few more V8s and see if I can dip into the 11's.

100 at first for the dyno tune but also a 125 at the track likely on the 5.0
Car runs now at 116-117mph so I am hoping for a 10 second run.

I lack a cage so won't be able to make a full pass but 2-3 times.

Wow, that is crazy that your first track day opens May 13th! That is when we basically stop racing due to heat/humidity.

Bandimere is already open but that's a good 100 miles north of here. I'll be going to a track that is closer to me. Pueblo Motorsport Park. The elevation kills us up here so I'm hoping Pueblo is at a lower elevation than Bandimere (5,800').
