2013 Boss 302 inbound

Looks like the 2013 Boss 302's are going to be available right from the start. Just checked incoming 2013 Mustang inventory and our first one is a Boss in Gotta Have It Green. Nice. Supposed to be here March 19th. I thought it would be a GT or a V6. Still not word on when to expect the GT500 other than "Summer."

Me too, Gotta Have it Green looks great in the commercial on TV. Ofcourse I want to know if the black on that GT-500 is black black or tuxedo black. GT-500's will be available summer 2012.

Summer 2012 will be fine cause I'll be moving to Leavenworth KS. The price is my concern cause I have set myself a limit.

So far there are no pricing details on the GT500 but there are on the Boss 302. I'm a manager at a Ford dealership in NorCal.

Nope, only cloth. However you can get leather Recaro's on the GT.

No nav either and black in LS only. Ford is making it hard for me to get a Boss. How much is available on Ford Racing to get a GT up to Boss specs?

Without actually doing the research to look it up I'd guess everthing you need to upgrade to Boss Specs is available. The engine is going to be the most expensive part.

I thought the engine was the same but with a different intake manifold. Is there more different in the engine?

No it's a lot more than just the intake. For starters the heads are extrude honed and have a different valve train. Ford did a lot of work making the Boss 302 engine.

Well the price on the GT500 is out and it was as I expected. $58k for the SVT. So I'm saving my pennies toward it this summer.

Update, the Boss finally came in last week and it's already gone. Before I got around to taking any pictures. Someone came in and stroked a check for $75,000. Got say it's a good looking car in that color with the black stripes. It was also Boss #10.
