I read a couple of news blips this morning that said the 2013 GT500 could get up to 620 horsepower! Forgive the exclamation marks, but that's just seventeen kinds of awesome!
Do you guys think it will actually happen, or are they just priming the market with hype?
The ZL-1 is coming out next year. That has been the "powerhouse" Camaro, historically. The Z28 was a road racing car, and had less power, but better handling. Much like the Boss 302 was/is today.
I don't know if they will release the Z28 this year...and Chevy is one of my clients.

This is definitely happening, Ive read the 2013 Shelby will be either 600, or 620 hp, either way, this new GT500 is a direct result of the 550hp ZL1 Camaro. Haha Mustang wins again. Is the ZL1 still gonna be in the 80k price range? Is so wow, thats a bummer, you could get a better car for 50k lol.

thats what i read back when it was still being called the Z28, but now since the name change i have no idea how it will be priced. but if it is 80k.....you gotta be a moron, or a serious collector to buy one. like you said, your better off with the Z06( or in my opinion, the cheaper BETTER 620hp GT500 )
