Has anyone done the swap (EcoBoost in an 85 SVO) I'm looking for suggestions for a Vac brake booster that is a little shorter than the stock one to make it easier to install. The is an all-disk brake, 5 lug car. any help would be appreciated.

Nope. I been here a long time and have been been waiting for somebody to come along that's silly enough to put an Eco-Boost in a Fox.

You will likely end up converting to a Hyrdro-Boost setup for your swap. I hear that the Electric Volvo units are pretty good.

Start with pics and document your progress!

Have you figured out what ECU you're going to use to run this whole thing?

The TV show "Junkyard Empire" did one back in 2018. I don't remember all the details anymore but the idea is sound - putting a 300 hp 2.3 in place of a 200 hp 2.3.

I think Foxcast Media (Instagram, Youtube?) did an Ecoboost swap in an orange notchback as well.

My friends shared this one with me a while back, though I don't know much about it.

If that one doesn't work, here is the link they sent me. I don't know what to say if neither one works. I guess look up "ThatDudeInBlue" on FB.

And they ran into major problems but managed to find the one remaining Ford wiring harness for it in the country.

That was in 2018
I am sure finding a wiring harness is much easier 7 years later.
