235/50/15 On the Front

Will 235/50/15 tires fit on the front of a 88 Stang? I have been told they will but i put em on and got a bad bad rubbing whenever i turned the wheel the slightest bit.

Someone on here said something could be wrong with the car but would would that be?

Is there anyway to make them fit?

what wheels do you have them on? is the car lowered? its all in the backspacing of the wheel. you can put 255's up front with minimal rubbing if the wheels have the right backspacing.

They are turbines. The car is not lowered. All suspension is stock or stock replacement as far as i know.

...sounds odd to me. i had 235/60/15's on my 10holes way back when. they only rubbed when i'd hit a bump in a hard corner. then when i lowered her i put 225/50/15's (too small) up front and now i've got a LOT of room. are you sure they aren't 235/60/15? if they are and your springs are shot i could see them rubbing.
