Ok in 5.0 talk I have my power number from the dyno and also talked about my fuel delivery problem. Can anyone lead me to a place where I can get a 255 pump for a good price. Money is REALLY tight now and I have to spend 250 to get it retuned once I get the pump soif anyone can help me out I would be greatly thankful...thanks guys

you'll be fine man. i buy all sorts of stuff off of ebay. ebay is a lot safer than a lot of people think. just use paypal to make the payment more secure, and only buy from reputable people. (high feedback rating)

I couldn't disagree more. There are soooo many scams on ebay it's just insane. Even buying from high feedback buyers isn't always safe....as many times the damage isn't done until after the inital feedback is already given.

Here is some interesting info on fake walbro fuel pumps going around evil-bay...

yeah, but there's scams EVERYWHERE. thats why i try to buy only from companys that can offer some sort of warranty or return/exchange policy. but when your budget is tight (like the OP) and you need something cheaper than what a retail company can offer, taking chances on ebay like that is a risk you gotta take. just be smart about it and don't just buy something on a whim just because it's cheap.

btw, interesting stuff about those walbro pumps. good to know!

just buy the summit brand pump. its cheapest.

AFAIK all the major guys, BBK , holley, trick flow all use the same walbro pump, i may be wrong so someone chime in for me. if you look on summit all the kits are identical and all the fuel pumps i have seen look the same and are all walbro pumps

btw interesting read on the fake pumps
