Just my opinion but I'm not crazy about the way 275's look on a 17x8 rim. 17x9's with 275's on the back is the way to go if money is not an issue.

Seriously, take a look at the specs for just about any tire manufacturer and the widest tire recommended for a 17x8 inch rim is 255. I guess it comes down to this, do you want them to just "look" good or do you want them to perform as the manufacturer designed them to.
