i called comp cams about having a custom cam made, and after bs'ing with the guy for a few we came down to the 274hr for my application.
street car, edelbrock heads/intake, dss 306, ect. the shortblock i am buying currently has a 282hr in it, which is very close in specs to the 274hr. instead of him removing the cam, me buying another, and having to do the timing chain cover, degree, spend more money, should i just stick with the 282?
the difference between them mainly, is 0.009 more lift, and more duration. how do you guys like the cam? where is your powerband at? i have been told it starts pulling hard at 2600 on, is that an accurate range?
