As everyone knows a stock 01Cobra has 3.27 gears. I don't know whether to get 3.73 or 3.90 gears, I am staying away from the 4.10s because this is my daily driver to work and I use the interstate going 75-80mph for a 18min commute. Also eventually I plan on getting a Kennebell whenever they finish making the kit.

4.10's or you'll be redoing them shortly after...the difference between 4.10's and 3.90's on the highway at 75mph is 130rpms...it won't matter with gas milage...If you are worried about gas milage I'd stay away from the Kenne Bell too cause that'll really make your gas milage drop if you think that 4.10's will...Just my opinion...

:OT: 01TrueBlueCobra I am trying to hit the same #'s you have in your sig can you tell me about your Complete WMS HighVelocity Intake System? how much and any dyno before and after. I plan on getting the UD pullies to. also do you have anything else other than whats in your sig for performance? thank you.

I wouldnt bother with anything below 4.10's. I wish I had gone with 4.30's but I guess with the KB I would say 3.73 cause if the tq but I would hold out until you see some numbers from the kit. and the stock 01 comes with 3.27's.

If you are going with the KB, I would stick to 3.73s as the twin screw will make all kinds of power down low. If you were to stay NA, go with nothing below 4.30s. And the difference on the highway is barely noticable. I was still around 22 mpg with my 4.30s before I got the car tuned and unmeasured but better after.

Might want to look at the Corral RPM / Speed / Gear Ratio Calculator...

The WMS system gave my Cobra about 20RWHP on my before and after dyno.I think the main reason for such a power increase because of the 95mm MAF and the CAI TUBE is 4 inches in diameter, the BBK kit you have is 3 inches if I remember right. Go to www.wmsracing.com and you'll see what I'm talking about ( don't get scared off by the prices they are in Canadian so the cost in American dollar is much cheaper)
