My friend currently has his car out in virginia getting a built 4.6, with a procharger and 3 core intercooler put on it. We know what we are talking about when it comes to cars but, we are a little confused on whats so special about the 3 core intercooler? We know intercoolers, cool the air and so forth, more horsepower. But why a 3 core? i've done few searches and everything i find kind of goes around the topic of exactly whats so special about it. I was just curious if one of you guys could inform me whats so special over a 3 core intercooler over a typcial intercooler. Thanks guys.
