It is finished finally and back in the garage, only need to tune it now. The beautiful 3" StainlessWorks tailpipes and 14" mufflers had to go with the IRS. But the custom fabbed over axle replacement sewer pipes aren't exactly too shabby. After the MRC roll-control was welded to the 9" Moser solid the last step was getting tailpipes made. Yeah turn downs would have been OK for the track but I didn't want that. I got two 170* bends along with a couple J's from StainlessWorks to start with and the rest was freestyle fab-o-rama using pieces from what was getting replaced. I could only fit 10" mufflers now so they also made Turbo straight thru Hi-Flo mufflers from measurements I gave them when I ordered the bent pieces. The guy that welded it together added a solid removable strap to make it completely solid from the mufflers back, but you can't see it until you crawl under.

The car is a mess after bouncing from shop to shop for 16mos. It still has burnout spittle and crust from the last passes from fall of 05. Here are some pics, tell me what you think:

NOS is run outside completely, next to the braided garden hose:

Looks like they did a great job fabbing up that exhaust. Only criticism I have is the tail pipes stick out too far from the bumper cut outs. Looks kind of funky with that much overhang.

Can't wait to see some new numbers/times!

Just a temporary thing while I am tuning it. Gotta start pig rich with smoke and soot and the occasional wet back fart shooting flames out at the end of the 1/4. No I'm not concerned about the final "look" yet and I'm not making a fashion statement, I just hate cleaning black goo off the the rear bumper cover. I know some track rats that picked up on why I did that, not obvious to everyone.

I'll be to the track soon, last year there were Friday rentals I could get in on almost every week in early spring and I have yet to get in on one yet this year. I have the thing running OK but I have to test WOT at the track, too damn loud and frightening now to sneak around on the street. Might have to rent some dyno time for the first time ever.
