I have a stock 302 with air-gap intake, holley 600CFM carb, flowtech headers.. etc.

What gap should I run with my NGK's? I hear lots of gap numbers, and would like one specific for me.

Thanks.

stock gap is .044 or .045" until '92 when the coil output was changed. then the stock gap went to .054" I think....

well I ran .054 on my 89 5.0, and my 88 has .045 right now...and they both ran fine so just go with .054 or so.

larger gap take more power from the coil for the spark to jump....so if there both good then go .44 with a stock coil and .54 with a aftermarket coil.
