Using stock rods/lifters/ignition/disttibutor, 24 lb injectors, stock crank

Going w/ a " X" cam. Using ported E7 heads, and LT headers. Either GT 40 or Trickflow intake. Question is, my car ISN'T MAF.... Do I need to Convert, or will it learn on its own, or run like *****?

most likely you will have to convert. using the 24#'s and the x cam will throw off the fuel/air curve alot.

Cheapest I found was around 500...

Any other suggestions? Maybe a junkyard?

Well if your gonna use 24lb injectors your gonna have to get a MAF calibrated for those. You could get the wiring out of a junkyard, but that might be hard to find. Also, one side thing to note about the "X" cam, you'll probably need to get the pistons notched so as to not interfere with the valves.
