302 to 351 swap intake question

My 351 windsor was taken from a 1996 F250. It is a complete motor minus the upper intake manifold. My question is. Can i just use a stock replacement f250 uppper? I dont have the money for the intake manifold kits. MAYBE this one: 1986-93 Mustang 5.0L Satin Ford Racing Cobra Intake Manifold, M-9424-Z51 at LRS - Same Day Shipping!
But i'm not even sure if this will work

the intake you have listed is for a 302. you need an intake made for a 351. you might be able to find a used lightning intake.

Yeah, but I'll bet that used lightning intake will cost more than your entire engine! Edelbrock, Trick Flow and Professional Products all make an EFI 351 intake.

I have an opportunity to buy a used f250 upper very cheap, will it work? My hood has plenty of room

if you put the stock truck upper intake, there are very FEW aftermarket hoods that will clear it! Not only will the 351 be much higher than the 302, which will require a hood in of itself, but now you're going to throw a HUGE upper intake on it. I see some mad max'n in your future!

Not good lol. I guess i've got to start searching for an intake . The thing is, i'm on a budget of MAYBE $1000 and i still have to buy longtubes and h pipes for it and a dist. So know anywhere to get an intake cheap?

Here is a pic of an elbow that you use with an lower like that:



I have a junior victor lower that has been converted for EFI sitting in my office. It comes with fuel rails. I was going to use it on my 410 with an elbow like a Edelbrock 3848, but never got around to it.
