Anyone running a Nitto drag radial 305/35/18 on a 9.5" rim? I have 18x10 deep dish Bullitt wheels in the rear now but want to get some Ruff Racing 278 18x9.5. I'm just wondering if anyone has driven with this combo size tire/rim and had any problems. Thanks.

I think that's pushing it. Even though Nitto's run small, that tire will be really mushroomed out preventing an optimum contact patch. It *should* be possible, but I wouldn't do it.

So what are the dangers in doing this? Could the tire pop off if you do sharp turns or something? hehe

I run the 305/35/18 Nitto DR's on my 18x9.5" 2000 Cobra R's. They fit and look great (no mushrooming as Boosted98 said). Give me your email address and I will send you a picture.
