306 vs. 331 vs. 347

What are the horsepower and torque numbers? Assume everything is stock. The only thing different is displacement.

I have a book of dyno runs at home where they put a bunch of stock parts on a 347. ill post it when I get home.

Off the top of my head im guessing around 245-250 hp from the 331 and 260ish for the 347.

There are too many variables that come into play to give any "real" estimate. Stock? What do you mean by stock? What's good for one motor isn't good for another. This is comparing apples to oranges. But between a 302 and a 306 there's about 6hp difference...

i know a stock 289 will out rpm a 302 and make more torque above 3500

ok heres the dyno numbers. Its a bone stock 95 5.0 automatic, then everything was transfered over onto a 347:

Hope that helps ya. As for the 331, it'll probably almost look like the 347, just proportionately smaller (about 5% less power all around). Remember, these numbers are from an automatic.
