I have 17x11's with 315's on them (how the hell did you manage to get 315's on a 9" rim?)
anyways...when I was backing out of my brother's steep driveway at an angle (so my front bumber and tailpipes did not scrape), the rear axel must have been at some weird angle, because my tires actually bent out the lip of the wheel well opening, and cut up my tires some. I just used a hammer and beat that lip back in, and actually kinda rolled it up inside, so the sheetmetal edge of the lip is pointing up, instead of horizontally in like it was stock. The paint loos kinda ugly if you stick you head under the wheel well, but otherwise it did not hurt the visible sheet metal/paint at all.
