32v in a fox

looking to install a 32v 4.6 into one of my foxes. My questin is which car to get a 32v from. I know they usually get them out of lincoln mark vIII's. Can u use one out of a lincoln contiental. Also what is a teksid block and what cars werethey in?

as far as i know teksid blocks are in ALL of the mark's and they were made from 93-98 i believe.

there is a guy on the local forum im on who has done this...

96-98 Cobras also had tek sids. The marks are easy to find b/c most yards don't realize what they are and sell them a bit cheaper.

If you want to go a bit bigger you can get a 32v 5.4 from a wrecked naviagtor.

Actually a pretty nice combo to put together would be to find a teksid shortblock, 01+ continental heads, have the exhaust ports opened up, 03/04 cobra cams (you can find them cheap all over the boards and they are the same as 03/04 mach 1 cams), mach 1 or 99+ cobra intake.
