Up for auction I have a fully rebuilt 347 shortblock with all new internal parts. This balanced and blueprinted engine uses only premium quality aftermarket parts (with the exception of the block which has been hot tanked, and machined, and conditioned). Don't be fooled by cheap no-name brand knock off parts that are of lesser quality.
Engine specs:
- New Lightweight Scat crank (new old stock crank that was made before they moved the plant to Taiwan)
- 4.030" bore
- 3.40" stroke
- 50 oz imbalance
- New Scat I beam rods
- NEW ARP rod bolts
- New forged Probe/CHP flat top pistons
- yeilds ~ 11:1 compression with 60 cc heads
- New Clevite 77 main and rod bearings
- Ford f-series truck block
- New rings
- New manual flywheel (balanced to the rest of the assembly)
The most common question I will probably get is how much horsepower this shortblock is capable of handling. If you do a search on the internet you will hear testimonies claiming that this block will handle as much as 500 RWHP. A much more realistic number is 400-450.
As an added bonus, I will include a set of used (ARP hardware is re-useable) ARP 7/16" head bolts for free. One washer is missing, but you can get a replacement at a machine or sped shop.
A $200 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of the end of the auction. Full payment is due within 48 hours of the end of the auction. If you have any questions, or concerns, please contact me prior to bidding. I will try my best to get this out to you as fast as possible, but this will have to be drop shipped from area code 68102. I will try and get it out the day, or the day after payment is received, but it may take 3-4 business days to ship (I usually use Yellow to transport things like this). I am centrally located in Omaha, Nebraska, so even if you are on either cost, you should receive your shortblock quickly!
