I like EVOs/STIs alike. I also LOVE Mustangs.

Never liked the 350z/G35 cars too much... Theyre great value for money though... Relatively quick and reliable.

I'm 100% with 4tun8. I love all cars equally, no biases... Hey if a Civic is done up "right" I like it lol.

BTW, I drive a red convertible.. Am I a girl too?

My friend built a g35. Forged motor, twins, etc. It probably makes 500 or more. Methanol injection isn't hooked up, he just daily drives it. I was impressed when I rode in it.

Same friend also has a 850-950hp eclipse GSX, cage, etc. I have not rode in that car, and I'm not sure I want to. The last time I rode in a high horse car I puked.....litterally. That one was a 71 Challenger with a forged 318 and twin GT30r turbos. Each one of those turbos can support 520 crank horse.....we were pushing like 14psi and the car never got traction, but that didn't stop it from going fast. It was like.....going fast sideways. Since then I haven't had the desire to ride in something like that.

The GSX that I was speaking of trapped like 144mph in the quarter....that's on E85 corn squeezins. GT42r turbo with the big backside if anyone is curious.

As said before, I like fast

I think it really depends. My knowledge is limited really to import 4 cylinders and specifically import 4 cylinders that also happen to be AWD.

GSX, STI, EVO etc. These cars tend to not suffer in drivability due to advanced tuning techniques and the fact that you're using a turbo as your power adder.

my brother just got done installing a gtm twin turbo system on his and is going in for a tune next wednesday. should make somewhere in the 470rwhp range at 9psi. pretty sick car

oh and ill most likely have some videos when the track opens to end sibling rivalry lol already took my brothers procharged 07GT out now its time to move onto my youngest brother and his Z lol hopefully kenne bell instant boost helps me with his too cause they both make more power than me lol

This is an excuse for a poorly tuned suspension. Lots of cars are designed to perform around a road course and the ride isn't harsh and "jittery." It might feel like a "real sportscar" to the uninitiated, but it's really just a sign of poorly matched components.

The early 350Z's suffered from rocking-horse motion over regular expansion joints and the "ripple" caused by truck traffic on concrete US highways. It didn't happen everywhere or to everyone, but pretty much everyone who had to drive on a road like that noticed the issue. It's been addressed somewhat with shock and spring adjustments, apparently.

A friend had a new 2003 350Z, and we'd drive on the same roads together at times. He hated certain sections of freeway because the front and rear of the car bobbed sickeningly at certain speeds, like 40 mph in heavy traffic. I would be following him and see it happen, while in my 99 Mustang GT the road was obviously rippled but the car ran flat over the ripples at 40 mph.

I'm pretty sure all year 350Z's have front tire wear issues because of suspension movement and tire caster/camber/toe. Nissan recommended eliminating any toe out on the front tires as a "fix." Clearly the issue exists in the design of the suspension, as other cars don't have this issue to the same degree.

I'm not saying the 350Z is a bad car and I wouldn't mind having one to flog myself, just that it isn't the suspension superstar the harsh ride has led some people to expect. It's a very nice but imperfect car, like every other car on the road

Keep in mind that the 350Z was a totally new car for Nissan at the time. They aren't new to making sports cars, but the 350Z wasn't the pinnacle of a line - it was a brand new car that didn't have decades of refinement behind it. I'm sure the engineers at Nissan considered what mistakes were made on the 350Z and fixed them with the new 370Z.
