The track is open on the heads up nights just like usual, except that the gates open at 5:00 instead of 7:00. The time trial lanes are open and running between our rounds as well, and we have to be done by 10:00 anyway because of the noise limit.

If you're interested in racing on the heads up nights, you may want to try and get some practice on a pro tree. It's a lot different than the regular sportsman tree. If you're interested in racing in Drag Radial especially I would also recomend getting some class legal tires to practice with. Both dan and Jeff were pulling ~1.6-1.7 60' times on the little tires which tells me that even as small as they are they would be better than any normal street tire.

thanks for the info, ya definetely need to pick up some drag radials and some cheap rims. Last time I went out there I was running on my 18'' ers and street tires. Not to good for traction.

Also keep in mind that there isn't any fee for participating in the heads-up races so there really isn't any risk. I'd love to see more cars out there in the drag radial class, and you should be able to be pretty competitive with your car based on the last event.

Yes it is the Greddy TT kit. This car has like 50 grand in it (at least that is what they said). Nobody wanted to disclose it's power. Huge front mount, all sorts of work done to it. It is pretty damn fast.

Is he from seattle area normally or more down by you guys? I ran into one by my house in renton that smoked my ass bad!!! =) Looked just like that and definately had that turbo sound.
