351w cam specs

Hello all,
I purchased an 84 mustang GT with the following engine specs (at least what I was told):

351w bored .30 over
.577 lift comp cam
Edelebrock heads.
750 holley carb
Victor Jr Intake

I don't know much more about the engine but know the cam in the car was a custom comp cams grind. Would anyone be able to enlighten me about the specs posted about the cam.

The car barely idols so I was just wondering if it was to much cam for a street car.

There's people on here with more technical expertise than me and I'm sure they'll chime in,
but 108* lobe separation for a street car seems a little tight.
